The Sill is one of our favorite places to shop for plants in all of New York City, offering amazing customer service and a busy calendar of events in their tiny shop on Hester Street to help you learn exactly how to keep that fiddle leaf fig or pothos alive.

As Jim Jarmusch put it in the documentary Blank City, the address is roughly between Bowery, Avenue B, 14th Street and Houston. This area of the city is steeped in art, film, and music history; so many hugely influential artists, film makers, and musicians still live and work here. For such a small area, I think it's had more concentrated influence on contemporary art and culture than anywhere else.

Eye-Candy per excellence!

Has no sign outside, so you might miss it, but if you do happen to find it, you will feel like you have walked into the 1920's. Its very chic, with Black and white marble decor, candle light and ambience to go with a great list of cocktails and whiskeys etc.
