Lunch there before a visit at the MET with a walk in Central Park

If you like childrens books and/or illustration, also check out the great store on the other side of the street (Cupcake Café).

Neighborhood lunch place / Japanese supermarket. Love it for its authenticity and affordable Japanese food menu. Although its located in SOHO, it’s not hip, not fancy, not designed, not styled, not outstanding. Feels like a honest, family run business that makes the most out of this location for sure. Come here for Ramen, soba, sushi, and more. Try some fries with a choice of chili or wasabi mayonnaise. There’s something about them.

This burlesque club contains a stripper pole, but is hardly worth it unless you know someone who will hook up drinks.

The best underground shows you will find will have free pbr and models as far as the eye can see. They are rarely announced, so keep your eyes out for promising openings, especially with Milk Underground coming up.
