One of my favourite places to snoop around is the food market open on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It’s always bustling with crowds so great for people watching. You can get the best of anything here which is why it’s hard to resist spending a small fortune.

The St Bride Foundation is the home of the St Bride Library, an incredible resource of printing history, in the form of books, printed ephemera, and tools from the trade. It also hosts many fantastic talks each year – check their website for details.

Tate Modern can always be relied on for offering up interesting, challenging exhibits, housed in great architecture and with one of Londons best cultural bookstores. An ever reliable weekend hangout.
